Tutors Can Help with Writing, Math, Science, and More!
The Barton Tutoring Center is in Building 103.
Students can check in for appointments, or make appointments, in Room 337.

Appointment Length 30 minutes per appointment
Appointments / Day 1 appointment per course, per day, maximum
Appointment Limit 3 hours per week, maximum
No repeat appointments unless a student has accommodations through Student Disability Services, building 105.

How to schedule an appointment:
- After you log in, click "Schedules" (top left) to choose a campus & subject area
- Under "Find an Appointment" enter your preferred appointment date, time, and tutor
- Under "Limit to" choose your course
- Under "Meeting Type" choose: any available, face-to-face, or online
- Click the "Find Appointments" button
- Under the appointment option that you prefer, click the "Reserve" button
To attend an online appointment:
- Log in to this website https://gvltec.mywconline.com/
- At the top left, click "My Appointments"
- Below "My Appointments" click on the date of your appointment
- Click the red button "Start or Join Online Consultation"

After 6 p.m. and on weekends, use Brainfuse Online Tutoring (Available 24/7)
- Students can use up to 4 hours per month of online tutoring through Brainfuse
- 4 papers per month can be reviewed by the Brainfuse Writing Lab
- To make a Brainfuse appointment, go to Blackboard and scroll down to "Helpful links for students," then click the Brainfuse link.

During the summer semester, there will be no face-to-face tutoring at Brashier or Northwest campuses, but GTC students are encouraged to use tutoring at Barton or Benson campuses or make online appointments.
